Orlando, a customer of mine who wanted to get his son's portrait waited for several years to actually get it done. This is only the beginning I will add the rest of the body in an up coming session.
Custom alligator warrior I drew up for this customer still unfinished.
So I just finally moved to a new location in Los Angeles and decided I would bring out some oils to warm up since it's been a long time since I've painted anything.
Natural light and temperature study (Acrylic).
Finished possessed woman done on a customer.

The Idea and the Result (Custom Tattoos by Joshua Leon)
I met Shane last summer when he brought me an idea for his first tattoo. He described what he wanted for his first tattoo but was not sure about what image he could live with for the rest of his life. So I began with quick thumbnail sketches playing around with the concept.
After he felt and knew I was on the right direction we pick a thumbnail sketch and proceeded with a more detail sketch while still sculpting the idea.
By this point we have both agreed on the final design and have begun the tattoo.
Weeks later...
And quite after a few months I have completed this painting on a human canvas for him and the world to enjoy!
